Two roads in Aspinwall near the Highland Park Bridge will be reduced to single-lane alternating traffic starting Monday and continuing most weekdays through late August.

The effected roads are:

• Delafield Avenue, between Fourth Street and Rutledge Drive;

• Lexington Avenue, between Fourth Street and Virginia Avenue Extension.

Construction is scheduled to occur from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays through late August. Bad weather make-up work may occur on Fridays and Saturdays, according to PennDOT.

The lane restriction is due to drilling operations and bridge work related to the Route 28-Highland Park Bridge interchange improvements.
