Nighttime roadwork on Route 28 that was set for the weekend has been postponed.

PennDOT had scheduled work between the Millvale and the Highland Park Bridge interchanges, but it has been postponed as the result of rain that is forecast.

The work is part of an $11.5 million improvement project, expected to conclude in the spring of 2021.

PennDOT has created an email distribution list for updates on Route 28 advisories and updates. Enroll by sending email addresses to stcowan@pa.gov with “Subscribe — Route 28” in the subject line.
