Pittsburgh Brewing Company to host 3rd annual Light Up Night
The Pittsburgh Brewing Company is expecting 1,500 people to attend its sold-out third annual Light Up Night in East Deer.
Despite the large number, the Pittsburgh Brewing team said it’s around the same amount of attendees as last year’s celebration and they’re prepared for the crowd.
“We do much more for (St. Patrick’s Day) and we did around the same amount last year,” the brewery said in a statement to TribLive.
The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Dec. 5. This year’s celebration will feature live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, holiday themed activities and, of course, fresh brews.
Throughout the evening, people will be able to participate in holiday photos, carriage rides and a visit from Santa. The tree lighting will take place at 6 p.m.
The 56 East Band will lend their musical talents to the event by playing holiday tunes throughout the night.
The brewery will be working with a third-party parking company to manage cars coming and going on the campus.
“We don’t have traffic jams for this,” the statement said. “This number includes children, so there will not be as many cars as you would think.”
