Can’t make it to the 2026 NFL draft in person? Pittsburgh Brewing Co. is offering an alternative.
On April 23, the East Deer brewery will be hosting a watch party for the draft in partnership with WTAE.
The night will feature food, entertainment and a live broadcast of the NFL draft being hosted in Pittsburgh. Activities will take place inside and outdoors on the brewery’s campus.
Todd Zwicker, Pittsburgh Brewing’s president, said the goal is simply to bring people together and have a good time.
“Our brand fits right in to Steeler Nation, to Western PA, to Black and Gold,” Zwicker said. “This property is an extension of all of that.”
Not only will Zwicker be planning to attend, he’ll be working alongside the brewery’s 38 employees throughout the night. He said the event calls for an “all-hands-on-deck” scenario. The company’s event coordinator, Rebecca McCormick, will staff extra servers and bartenders.
“It’s an honor to host the draft party because of our Iron City legacy and what it means to the city,” said Ronda Zegarelli, vice president of marketing at Pittsburgh Brewing and Iron City Distilling, which is also part of the complex off Freeport Road in the township’s Creighton neighborhood.
Zwicker said the event is open to all ages. Customers can buy different ticketing options tailored to specific viewing experiences.
“We want to try to make something for everybody. In general, I think everyone will have a great time here,” Zwicker said.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $250, for general admission to premium guest experiences.
General admission includes access to food trucks, various games and live entertainment. The VIP experience includes the same, plus early entry to the event, tap room access, local celebrity appearences and food options from Giant Eagle, another sponsor of the event.
Ticket options cap off at the premium guest experience, Zegarelli said. This option hosts guest in the Iron City Distilling mezzanine. It also includes parking options, distillery access with a private bar, a bottle of limited-edition single barrel release whiskey made by Iron City Distilling, a distiller meet-and-greet, dinner catered by Giant Eagle and local celebrity appearences, including a performance by local comedian Matt Light.
“It’s not just ‘sit in a seat and watch the draft,’” Zwicker said about the different activity options.
