A 24-year-old Plum man died early Saturday after a crash on Unity Center Road.

Allegheny County Police said Brandon Hugh Patton was on a motorcycle that slid across the road into a Nissan SUV driven by a 25-year-old woman, who was not identified, in the 1000 block of Unity Center shortly after midnight.

No one else was hurt, county police said.

Patton died from injuries to his upper body, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Soxman Funeral Homes, 7450 Saltsburg Road in Penn Hills, is handling arrangements.

Visitation is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
