Plum police and the U.S. Postal Service are investigating numerous incidents of mail theft, police said Tuesday.

Suspects are stealing the contents of residential and business mailboxes, police said.

Officers have identified a vehicle of interest, according to police. On Monday, the driver of a white minivan was seen taking mail from mailboxes.

Police said the van may have a dark-colored passenger door. Police did not describe the driver and did not say where the driver was seen taking mail from mailboxes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or borough police at 412-473-3056.
