State police say a man fired several shots from a handgun at another vehicle during a road rage episode in North Buffalo on Friday.
Dillon Schaub, 32, of Manor Township, faces dozens of charges in connection to the incident, including felony aggravated assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.
The incident took place on Route 422 in North Buffalo just before the Judge J. Frank Graff Bridge, according to a criminal complaint filed by state police.
As a car with two occupants attempted to pass Schaub’s SUV, Schaub fired about five shots from his open window at the vehicle, according to the complaint.
While the driver of the other vehicle alternated between accelerating and slowing in an attempt to escape from Schaub, the complaint said, Schaub fired about three more shots.
After both cars passed over the Graff Bridge, the two vehicles took different exits, ending the incident, the complaint said.
Police arrested Schaub on Saturday, and both occupants of the other car positively identified him in a photo lineup, police said.
Schaub did not have a defense attorney listed in his court documents. His bail was set at $100,000 by District Judge Kevin Lee McCausland.
Schaub’s preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 16 before District Judge J. Gary DeComo.
