Police have suspects in Arnold teen's shooting death in Tarentum
Allegheny County Police say they have identified suspects in the November shooting death of an 18-year-old man in Tarentum.
Syncere Spruill, of Arnold, was shot shortly before midnight Nov. 22 in the 200 block of Conroy Way. He was pronounced dead at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner determined Spruill died from a gunshot wound of the trunk and right leg. His death was ruled a homicide.
An unidentified 19-year-old was wounded. His condition was changed from stable to critical, county police Lt. Venerando Costa said.
Police did not release any information on the suspects.
Police would not comment on what Spruill and the other man were doing on Conroy Way that night. The department also did not comment on a possible motive for the shooting.
“The circumstances behind the shooting are still under investigation,” Costa said.
Police would not say if the incident was captured on any nearby surveillance cameras.
Visitation for Spruill was held Nov. 28 at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service in New Kensington.
Attempts to reach Spruill’s family through the funeral home were not successful.
