An Ohio man has been charged with assault in connection with a fight Wednesday in Allegheny Township.

Bradley Diana, 22, of Columbiana was arrested after police said he sliced another man’s head with a large metal file and punched a woman during an altercation at the Sandalwood Apartments.

Police said the victim was cut on the left side of his head.

Diana fled the scene, but was later taken in to custody in the nearby King’s Restaurant parking lot, police said.

Court documents indicate Diane was charged with one count each of aggravated and simple assault.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday before District Justice Cheryl Peck Yakopec.
