Police respond to domestic dispute in Brackenridge; no injuries reported

Police block off a section of Ninth Avenue in Brackenridge while responding to a domestic situation Tuesday.

No one was injured following a domestic situation Tuesday afternoon at a home on Ninth Avenue in Brackenridge.

Tarentum police, which serves Brackenridge, were dispatched for “reports of a domestic situation involving the threat of weapons and potential violence,” according to a news release from the Tarentum Police Department.

Police were dispatched at 1:55 p.m., and the incident was resolved within 20 minutes with no threat to the public, police said. Harrison and Fawn police assisted.

So far, no charges have been filed.
