Power outage hits Harrison area; West Penn Power expects restoration by noon
A power outage has hit thousands of Harrison residents and others in nearby municipalities Sunday morning.
The estimated restoration time is noon on Sunday, West Penn Power spokesperson Erika Tallman said.
Just before 9 a.m., an outage map from West Penn showed more than 5,000 customers without electricity in Harrison and Fawn.
Tallman said crews have arrived in Harrison to investigate the cause of the outage and restore power.
