Pro wrestler Abed Arroniz, of New Jersey, takes down opponent Sean “Big Game Leroy” Francis of Brooklyn, N.Y, during MV Young’s Backyard BBQ Wrestling hosted by Pittsburgh’s pro wrestling company Enjoy Wrestling on Saturday, July 23, 2022 outside Voodoo Brewery in New Kensington.

Pro wrestling came to the heart of New Kensington on Saturday evening at the Voodoo Brewery along Fifth Avenue.

Seven matches were scheduled in an event dubbed MV Young’s Backyard BBQ.

Michael Young, 27, a Lower Burrell native, was the main attraction. He’s the organizer and current singles champion for Pittsburgh-based Enjoy Wrestling, where he’s known as MV Young.

He’s opening a professional wrestling school, Technique 2 Train Pittsburgh, on Aug. 1 in downtown New Kensington.
