On Wednesday, motorists will be affected in the areas from the Fox Chapel Road/Waterworks Drive/Freeport Road ramp (Exit 8) to the Blawnox interchange (Exit 9).
On Thursday, work will occur between the Highland Park Bridge/Aspinwall off-ramp (Exit 6) and Route 8 (Exit 5 A/B).
In addition, traffic will be impacted on nearby Route 910 in Indiana Township, where pipe replacement and rock slope construction will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
The section of Rout 910 between Cedar Ridge and Cedar Run roads will be limited to single-lane alternating traffic. Flaggers will control traffic.
Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. are doing the work, which is expected to last three weeks.
