Hite Road through Springdale and Harmar townships will be under construction until November.

Route 28 will be reduced to a single lane in Springdale and Harmar townships early Wednesday morning.

Crews will be conducting demolition work on the Hite Road Bridge, near exit 12, causing single-lane restrictions in both directions.

The southbound lanes will be restricted to one lane from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m.

The northbound lanes will be restricted to one lane from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m.

The work is being done by Swank Construction as part of a two-bridge project totaling nearly $7 million. The project is expected to be finished in November.
