PennDOT is scheduled to close Route 356 between Park and Melwood/Hyde Park roads and La Belle View Road between Ashland Way and Route 356 on Wednesday.
Both closures are expected to be in place until early next month, depending on weather.
The closures will allow Ligonier Construction Co. to perform additional road work that’s part of a $7.7 million project to improve Route 356. Work has included realignment of the road, installation of a roundabout, and upgraded traffic lights. The project is expected to be completed in May.
