Noblestown Road in Pittsburgh’s West End reopened for traffic Monday afternoon.

A Route 910 bridge in West Deer that closed in mid-August has reopened.

The old bridge, over a branch of Deer Creek between Oak Road and Frontier Drive, was demolished and replaced.

A majority of the work was completed ahead of the original mid-October projection for completion.

Officials said minor construction related work, requiring short-term restrictions as needed, will continue at the bridge site.

Crews from the J.F. Shea Construction handled the bridge replacement work on this $1.09 million project, which also included approach roadway work, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
