The Tri-County Trout Club held its annual show and market at Guardian Angel Parish’s Patterson Hall in Harrison on Jan. 18. Nearly 50 vendors offered new, used, and vintage or collectible outdoor sporting items for fishing, hunting, archery, camping and trapping.

A sevice in memory of slain Apollo police Officer Leonard C. Miller was held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Apollo on Jan. 19. Miller was on his third day as a full-time borough police officer when he was shot and killed 45 years ago, on Jan. 3, 1980. One of his convicted killers, John Lesko, remains on death row while the other, Michael Travagalia, died there in 2017.
