Thespian Marushka Steel prepares Wednesday for the July 7 opening night production of “Spirit of the Revolution,” kicking off the 2023 Summer Freeport Theatre Festival season at the Freeport Theatre in Allegheny Township. The play is a historical drama written by Allegheny Township Supervisor Rennick Steele. Show dates are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through July 23.
