Single-lane restrictions will be in effect along Route 28 this week.
Overhead sign inspections will take place Wednesday and Thursday along northbound and southbound lanes from the Route 8 interchange near Etna to the Fox Chapel Road/Waterworks Drive/Freeport Road exit.
Work will happen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Friday, restrictions will be in place at the Cheswick/Springdale exit and about a quarter-mile south of the Millvale off-ramp. Work will also take place at the Route 28 intersection with Grant and Stanton avenues in Millvale.
Crews from Mackin Engineers & Consultants and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the work.
