A Tarentum man was hurt in a one-car crash in Fawn Wednesday night, according to state police.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on Route 908 near Ridge Road, an Allegheny County dispatcher said.

State police said Michael Henderson, 29, was heading west on Route 908 when his car hit the guiderail on the right side of the road, causing him to lose control. His car spun sideways, went onto the shoulder and hit a utility pole, after which it rolled over, coming to a stop in the middle of the road.

Henderson was removed from his car after Fawn firefighters arrived, state police said. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.

The severity of his injuries was unknown, state police said.

State police said speed and alcohol were “suspected factors in the crash.”

The crash remained under investigation.
