State police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Thursday outside an Oklahoma Borough bar.

Two people went outside the Oklahoma Inn at 1544 Hancock Avenue around 1:30 a.m. to engage in what police described as a “mutual fight” in an alley. One of the people was injured during the fight and had what appeared to be a stab wound, police said.

That person was taken to a hospital for treatment. An update on their condition was not available Friday.

“Anybody that was there that has any information, that would be really important for us during the course of our investigation,” said Trooper Steve Limani of Troop A in Greensburg.

The owner of the Oklahoma Inn declined to comment on Thursday’s incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-697-5780.
