The threat of thunderstorms canceled a band’s performance in Tarentum for a second time.

The performance by “Classic Brew,” a classic rock cover band, that was scheduled for 7 p.m. today at the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, according to the borough.

The snack shack will open at 6 p.m.

The band’s first performance on Aug. 15 also was called off over weather concerns.

Concerts are usually held on Thursdays.

The final concert for this year’s Summer Concert Series is “American Pie” at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29.

Admission is free.
