Tarentum police seek help identifying assault suspect

Tarentum police are attempting to identify the man driving this black Chevrolet Avalanche in connection with an assault on East 6th Avenue.

Tarentum police are working to identify a man wanted in connection with an assault.

The assault happened in the 300 block of East 6th Avenue, police Chief William Vakulick said Tuesday. He did not say when the assault happened.

The man was seen driving a black Chevrolet Avalanche. Borough police released images of the vehicle on the department’s Facebook page.

The images are dated from July 25.

Anyone who can help identify the man is asked to contact police at 724-224-1515 or 412-473-3056.
