Allegheny County homicide detectives are seeking tips from the public to help identify a suspect wanted for the fatal shooting of a woman at the corner of East Fifth Avenue and Main Street in Tarentum on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Tarentum last week as Arquwonna Wright, 30, of Tarentum.
According to police, Wright was shot late Thursday night along Main Street near the apartment building where she lived with her two children, 4 and 6 months. The children were placed in the care of relatives and were not involved in the shooting.
Investigators have not released any other details about what might have led to the shooting or whether they have identified any suspects.
