Household item collection to help local families
Women of the Alle-Kiski Engaging, a division of the Alle Kiski Strong Chamber of Commerce, is sponsoring a collection of household and personal items through May 31 to benefit Allegheny Valley Association of Churches.
Items needed include paper products, diapers, baby wipes, personal care items, laundry detergent, brooms, and cleaning products as well as working new and used vacuum cleaners.
There are many drop-off locations including:

Online resume and interview workshops planned
Pennsylvania CareerLink Alle-Kiski will offer workshops on Zoom.us for anyone who needs help with resumes and interviewing.
A workshop about resumes will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and an interviewing workshop will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., both April 20. Sue Diehl will be the instructor.

Allegheny Township offices remain closed to the public
The Allegheny Township Tax office and Municipal Authority office, both located at 1001 S. Leechburg Hill Road in Kiski Park Plaza remain closed to walk-in customers.
Payments can be sent by mail or left in the drop box at the office. Please enclose a self-address, stamped envelope if a receipt is required.
