Concert planned April 22 in memory of George Wolfe
A day of music in memory of George Wolfe will be from 2 to 10 p.m. April 22 at South Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department, 100 Firehall Road.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Bands scheduled to perform include Carbon Black from 2 to 4 p.m.; Queen Anne’s Gate from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunset Drive from 8 to 10 p.m. Food and soft drinks will be sold, cash only. Alcohol is permitted, but no large coolers or kegs please.

Annual 5K run/walk to raise funds for St. Margaret Foundation
The 34th annual St. Margaret Foundation Brian Demchak Hope Challenge Run 5K Run/Walk will be May 14 to 20.
Participants will complete a virtual 5K at their convenience anytime from May 14 to 20 on their own outside, on a treadmill, dance floor or in a pool. Registration is required by April 21 to receive an event t-shirt.
The RIDC O’Hara Lunchtime Wellness Walk will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16. For details, call 412-784-4205 or visit stmargaretfoundation.org/challenge. Church collecting gently used shoes for charity
The Mission Team at East Union Presbyterian Church, West Deer, is collecting new and gently used shoes for a project to build a school in Burkina Faso, Africa.
