Valley High School Drama Club presents ‘The SpongeBob Musical’
The Valley High School Drama Club will stage “The SpongeBob Musical” Thursday through April 23 in the high school auditorium, New Kensington.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. April 23. Tickets are $12; $10 for students and senior citizens; and $5 for children in kindergarten and younger. For tickets, visit http://tickets.vhsdrama.org or at the door.
Cleanup day slated in Tarentum, Brackenridge and Harrison
Tarentum, Brackenridge and Harrison will sponsor a Pick Up Pa. cleanup day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the three municipalities.
Gloves, garbage bags and vests will be supplied before the event at the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Amphitheater in Tarentum’s Riverview Memorial Park, First Avenue. A picnic lunch for volunteers will be afterward at the amphitheater.

River Road cleanup schedule Saturday in Parks
The Kiski Watershed Association will have a clean-up day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday on River Road in Parks.
Volunteers should meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of Champion’s Crusaders Rescue, 2687 River Road. Wear long pants and bring work gloves. Donations will be accepted for the rescue. This is a roadside cleanup and may not be suitable for young children.

Tuesday: St. Vladimir Church, 1610 Kenneth Ave., will sponsor a bingo night. Doors open at 6 p.m. There is a $1,000 jackpot game with a $500 consolation prize. Pierogi, snacks, drinks, daubers and extra packages will be sold. Admission: $25.

April 22: A bingo to benefit the Avonmore Senior Center will begin at 1 p.m. at the center, 458 Railroad Ave. Doors open at 11 a.m. and free coffee and doughnuts will be served before the games start. An early bird jackpot game will be at 12:45 p.m. There will be a 50/50, door prize, 14 regular games, five specials and a $300 last jackpot game.
