Comedy night planned May 20 to benefit women’s veteran charity

A night of comedy to benefit non-profit Robin’s Home will be May 20 at American Legion, 150 Legion Memorial Lane, Butler.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be at 6. The show begins at 7 p.m. and will feature comedians Teresa Logan, Quinn Patterson and David Kaye. Tickets are $40 and include dinner. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For tickets, contact Mary at 724-453-4644 or mary@robinshome.us.

Robin’s Home provides care for homeless, unstably housed and low-income female veterans and their children in Butler, Armstrong, Allegheny, Clarion, Erie, Lawrence and Mercer counties.


Allegheny Township resident needed to serve on library board

Peoples Library is looking for a resident of Allegheny Township to serve on the library’s board of directors.

May 23: St. James and Our Lady Queen of Peace parishes will sponsor a bus trip to Rivers Casino, Pittsburgh. East Vandergrift
