Floral photography and art show hosted by NK Camera Club
The New Kensington Camera Club’s annual Spring Floral Photography and Art Show will continue through May 20 at the Focus on the Arts Gallery in Pittsburgh Mills Mall, Frazer.
Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Use Entry No. 2 by M@C Discount. Admission is free. Stop in and vote for your favorite photo or painting and be entered a prize drawing.
Master Gardeners to distribute free tree seedlings
Penn State Master Gardeners of Armstrong County will give away tree seedlings to celebrate Arbor Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. while supplies last Friday in a drive-thru in the lower parking lot of the Belmont Complex, 415 Butler Road, East Franklin.
One American Redbud (Cercis canadensis) seedling will be given to the first 200 families.
Concordia Lutheran Ministries to hold spring luncheon fundraiser
The Concordia Lutheran Ministries Spring Fling luncheon fundraiser will be May 13 at Butler Country Club, 310 Country Club Road, Penn Township.
Doors open at 10 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:45. The Freeport Area High School Forte Show Choir will perform and there will be vendor mall shopping, mystery bag sales and a basket auction.
Tickets are $45 and include a hot lunch featuring chicken Romano.
Proceeds benefit the Good Samaritan Endowment Fund subsidizing residents, particularly for their personal care. For tickets, call 724-352-1571, ext. 8355 or visit the news and events tab at concordialm.org. Ticket deadline is Friday. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The date was incorrect in yesterday’s Stroller for the takeout spaghetti dinner at the Moose in Lower Burrell. The dinner will be Sunday, April 30.
