TryLife Center to sponsor Walking for Babies fundraiser

The annual Walking for Babies event that benefits the TryLife Center in Lower Burrell will be held virtually and in person this year.

Participants can walk on their own in their neighborhood, track or park or participate at the event planned for 9 a.m. to noon June 12 in Northmoreland Park, Allegheny Township.

Registration fee is $25. Those who register by May 24 will receive an event t-shirt. To register and for more information, visit trylife.center/get-involved/upcoming-events/.

Armstrong museum seeking volunteers

The Armstrong County Historical Museum in Kittanning is looking for volunteers to staff the museum on Thursday and Sunday afternoons.

Volunteers will greet visitors, guide them through the house, provide information about the exhibits and assist staff as needed. There will also be opportunities to help at special events throughout the year.

Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels seeking volunteers

Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to help in the kitchen and make deliveries in Arnold, New Kensington and Lower Burrell.
