Rabies clinic offered Saturday in New Kensington
Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley will host a rabies, distemper and microchip clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the shelter parking lot, 730 Church St., New Kensington.
Services available and cost are: one-year rabies vaccine, $15; distemper vaccine, $20; microchip, $20; flea and tick treatment, $10; dewormer, $10. Get rabies, distemper and a microchip, all for $50. Cash only will be accepted.
Animals must be at least three months old to receive a rabies shot. Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash and cats must be in a carrier. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Volunteers welcome for Natrona community cleanup
A community cleanup will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Natrona section of Harrison.
Community members are welcome to meet at the Natrona Playground on River Avenue. Gloves and trash bags will be provided and gift card prizes awarded at 2 p.m.

Master Gardeners to give away free tree seedlings
Penn State Master Gardeners of Armstrong County will host a drive-thru tree seedling giveaway in observation of Arbor Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last Friday in the lower parking lot of the Belmont Complex, 415 Butler Road, East Franklin.
One American Redbud (Cercis canadensis) seedling will be given to the first 100 cars to drive-thru. Covid-19 safety guidelines will be followed. Drivers should remain in their vehicles.
Free concert planned Friday in Tarentum’s Riverview Park
The band American Pie will perform a free concert from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Carl J. Magnetta Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Park, First Avenue, Tarentum.
