St. Joseph HS students to present, ‘Into The Woods’

The drama department at St. Joseph High School, Harrison, will present its spring musical, “Into the Woods,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Casino Theatre, Vandergrift.

Donations needed to purchase Armstrong County artifact

Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogical Society is accepting donations to purchase the old bell that hung from 1906 to 1948 in the clock and bell tower above James McCullough Jr. Hardware in Kittanning.

The bell was auctioned off and left the local area. It was found in Ohio and featured in a recent episode of “American Pickers,” on the History Channel. The society plans to have a stand built and display the bell on the museum lawn.

Deer Lakes students to present, ‘Chicago: High School Edition’

The Deer Lakes High School Drama Department will present, “Chicago: High School Edition,” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday in the high school auditorium, West Deer.
