Leechburg Area High School to present, ‘Annie Get Your Gun’

The Leechburg Area High School Drama Club will present the musical, “Annie Get Your Gun,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the high school auditorium, First Street.

Donations needed to finance Apollo fireworks display

The Apollo Events Committee is accepting donations for its Restore the Fun in the Fourth Campaign to bring back the annual Fourth of July fireworks display.

The group hopes to raise $10,000 which will finance a grand display during the July 2 Jubilee and the public safety support to set them off. Any amount will help.

Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday

The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.

Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.
