Small Acts of Kindness
Melissa Spirk of Springdale would like to thank Springdale Mayor Joe Bertoline. “He always helps with the food bank, but in this time of need he has gone above and beyond. He made sure the people at the Allegheny Valley Food Bank had protection to serve the people. I think it’s really amazing he was not afraid to put himself out there to help the community. This is what a mayor should be!”
In recent weeks, the Covid19 Virus has impacted everyone’s lives across the Alle-Kiski Valley.
Many have and will step up to help family, friends and others they don’t even know.
The Stroller wants to recognize those around us who are performing these small acts of kindness for others during this stressful time. Send a short, one-paragraph note highlighting someone and how they helped you, your family or your organization to The Stroller at vndnews@tribweb.com.
