Lenny Collini 4Pack to play in Tarentum’s Riverview Memorial Park

Tarentum Summer Concert Series will feature the Lenny Collini 4Pack at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park.

Food trucks will be available. The concerts are sponsored by Tarentum Recreation Board.


Vandergrift PD to collect school supplies

The Vandergrift Police Department is collecting supplies through Friday for the teachers and staff at Kiski Area East Primary School in the borough.

Items being collected would otherwise be purchased by teachers out of pocket and include Expo or other dry erase markers, tissues, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. The nurses office needs new or gently used pants for boys and girls size 5T to 14-16.

Contributions can be taken to the police department or the borough building. For alternate arrangements, call Marilee at 724-454-1625.


Help needed by Apollo Events Committee

The Apollo Events Committee is looking for volunteers to plan and help at its community events throughout the year.

Monarch Hospice seeking volunteers

Monarch Hospice, Lower Burrell, is looking for volunteers to help with personal companionship, emotional support, pet therapy, sewing and knitting and as an administrative assistant.
