Casino Theatre plans auditions for holiday show
The Casino Theatre in Vandergrift will hold auditions for its annual Hometown Christmas production at 6 p.m. Aug. 27 at the theater.

Freeport Theatre Festival to present musical comedy
The Freeport Theatre Festival will present the musical comedy, “A Vertical Stack of Harmony,” at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 31 at the Steele Family Farm, 2498 White Cloud Road in Allegheny Township.

Smash Mouth to perform at Hartwood Acres
The free 2025 Allegheny County Summer Concert series will feature the rock band Smash Mouth at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater, 4070 Middle Road, Hampton.
