Tubing event on the Kiski River to help Champions Crusaiders
Rivers Edge Canoe and Kayak, 3158 River Road, Parks Township, will sponsor a fundraiser, Float For Felines, at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 30 on the Kiski River to benefit Champions Crusaiders Rescue animal charity.
Tickets are $40 per person for tubing and a light lunch or $50 that also includes a 17 x 25-inch cooler.

Free open door luncheon set in New Kensington
Allegheny Valley Church of God, 216 Catalpa St., New Kensington, will serve free lunches at noon Wednesday.
