Golf outing to aid Feeding the Flock Ministries

Feeding the Flock Ministries will host a golf outing Sept. 15 at Pittsburgh National Golf Club, 287 Monier Road, West Deer.

Check-in with coffee and doughnuts will begin at 7:30 a.m. The shotgun start will be at 9 a.m. and there will be a reception at 1:30 p.m. Dinner and a cocktail hour will be at 2:30 p.m.

Cost is $125 per golfer and includes a cart, a boxed lunch at the turn, a reception and dinner. There will be a silent auction and raffles. Volunteers, household donations welcome for Hospitality Homes

The Hospitality Homes division of Allegheny Valley Association of Churches provides housing to families and individuals who have a disability and are experiencing homelessness.

Volunteers are needed to mow and trim grass in one or two yards every week to 10 days. Items needed include outdoor and kitchen-size trash cans, trash bags kitchen-size and larger, dish detergent, laundry detergent and gently used or new vacuum cleaners.
