PSNK Alumni golf outing planned Oct. 8
Penn State New Kensington Alumni Society will host a golf outing Oct. 8 at Totteridge Golf Course, 325 Hannastown Road, Salem Township.
Registration and breakfast will be from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. The event is a scramble and there will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start. A reception and awards dinner will be at 2:30 p.m.

Donations sought for Gilpin-Leechburg Park improvements
The Gilpin Leechburg Joint Recreation Authority is accepting donations to be used to match a grant to complete upgrades and improvements at the park located in Gilpin.
The park is used by many residents as well as a local Boy Scout troop, the Leechburg Area High School softball team, ASA Softball, Little League and the school district field days.
Proposed improvements will be completed to the basketball court, tennis court, parking area, pavilion, concession stand and softball viewing area.
