Woods Family Band to perform free concert in Harrison

A free blues and rock concert featuring the Woods Family Band will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Natrona Playground, Harrison.

The band is led by Tim Woods who was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame. Food will be served and there will be an interactive art activity for all ages. The event is sponsored by Natrona Comes Together Association.

PSNK Alumni golf outing planned Sept. 30

Penn State New Kensington Alumni Society will host a golf outing Sept. 30 at Totteridge Golf Club, 325 Hannastown Road, Salem Township.

Registration and breakfast will be from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. The event is a scramble and there will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start. A reception and awards dinner will be at 2:30 p.m.

Tarentum concert to feature Lenny Collini 4 Pack

The Tarentum Summer Concert series will feature the Lenny Collini 4 Pack in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Carl J. Magnetta Jr. Memorial Amphitheater in Riverview Memorial Park.

The Snack Shack opens at 6 p.m. The concerts are sponsored by Tarentum Recreation Board.
