Superheroes Believe In Miracles seeks calendar sponsors
Superheroes Believe In Miracles is selling sponsorship for a 2021 calendar that will feature 13 local children who are battling illness.
Three levels of sponsorship are available:
• Bronze: $250, includes a 3½ x 3½-inch ad inside the calendar
• Silver: $500. includes a 6½ x 8½ ad inside the calendar
• Gold: minimum $1,000, company featured as a main sponsor of the calendar, ad inside calendar in the front
All levels will include the company being recognized on the group’s website and Facebook page.

Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank to stop in New Kensington
As part of its pop-up tour, the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank will distribute free diapers from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the New Kensington Head Start, 1049 Fifth Ave.
To ensure enough diapers are available, registration is requested by emailing your name, number of children and diaper sizes to westmoreland@wpadiaperbank.org.
Knead Community Café to distribute grab-and-go dinners
Knead Community Café in New Kensington will hand out free grab-and-go dinners from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the café, 1011 Barnes St.
This month’s sponsor is St. George Orthodox Church. Those picking up meals are reminded to observe social distancing while they wait in line.
Free diapers and food available at Highlands Family Center
Highlands Family Center, Tarentum, will distribute free diapers, produce, precooked meals, fabric face masks and baby food by appointment from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at the center, 415 E. Fourth Ave.

Salvation Army offers free lunches
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab-and-go lunches from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
Mobile health clinic to visit Natrona
The Building Block of Natrona will host the Adagio Health Mobile Unit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 27 in Natrona Park, 12-20 River Road, Harrison.
The Adagio Health Mobile Unit will conduct a health screening clinic with services including breast and cervical cancer screening, STD and HIV testing, basic adult health screenings such as diabetes and cholesterol.
Patients do not have to live in Natrona. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. For an appointment, call 814-676-1811. For more information, visit adagiohealth.org/mobile health. All covid-19 measures will be in place.
