Motorcycle run to raise money for scholarships

The Fall Scholarship Festival on Sept. 20 at Community Church of Pine Run in Washington Township will feature a motorcycle run.

Participants should arrive at the church by at least 10:30 a.m. to check in. The ride will leave at 11 a.m. from the church parking lot, 190 Pine Run Church Road, and return to the festival in Kunkle Park for lunch. Cost is $25 per driver and $10 for passengers.

Car cruise to honor late Frazer Chief Kuhns

The car cruise Wednesday evening at Pittsburgh Mills will honor the late Frazer Police Chief Terry Kuhns.

The cruise will be from 4 to 8 p.m. in the former JCPenney lot and will be a MOPAR night in honor of Chief Kuhns to owned a Plymouth Fury. The event will also be Pittsburgh International Dragway Night and there will be drag cars, historic photos and more.
