The hotline provides information about domestic violence, community resources, safety planning, support and more.
Food collection continues at Vandergrift VFW
The Vandergrift Veterans of Foreign Wars is collecting non-perishable food items for local veterans in need.
A drop-off box is located behind the outer doors of the VFW, 141-143 Sumner Ave.
Harrison Water Authority to begin flushing program
Harrison Water Authority will begin to flush hydrants on Monday.
The project will take several weeks. Water may be discolored and customers should test their water before washing clothes or using large quantities of water.

Sept. 18: St. Joseph High School is conducting a $20,000 Super Raffle. Cost: $100 per ticket. Prizes include a $20,000 grand prize, three $1,000 runner-up prizes. Winner need not be present. Indiana Township
Today: The free Allegheny County Family Drive-in Movie in the Hartwood Acres Amphitheater will be, “Lion King,” rated PG. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. 300 vehicle limit, first-come, first served. Refreshments available. Sponsored by the Allegheny Regional Asset District.

Sept. 5: Kiski Township Volunteer Fire Company will host a car cruise from noon to 5 p.m. at the firehall, 1037 Route 56.
