Grab-and-go dinners to be passed out at Knead Community Cafe

Knead Community Café in New Kensington will hand out free grab-and-go dinners from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the café, 1011 Barnes St. This week’s dinner is sponsored by Presbyterian SeniorCare Network. Those picking up meals are reminded to observe social distancing while they wait in line. There will be no dinners Dec. 24 or 31.

Drive-thru Nativity planned Saturday

Redeemer Lutheran School, 700 Idaho Ave., Penn Hills, will host a free live drive-thru Nativity at 1 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the school.

Leechburg clothing closet closed

The Clothing Closet at Leechburg First Evangelical Lutheran Church is closed until further notice.

Community Library of Allegheny Valley selling lottery calendars

Community Library of Allegheny Valley is sponsoring a Cash Calendar Lottery Raffle for the month of January.

Cash prizes will be determined by the amount shown on the ticket each day of the calendar for January 2021. Tickets are $5 for two numbers.

Winning numbers taken from the official Pennsylvania Daily ‘PICK 3” 7 p.m. drawing. The first number drawn is official.

Numbers will be chosen at random and e-mailed and winnings will be mailed. To purchase a ticket, visit alleghenyvalleylibrary.org.
