Festival of Trees raffle supports hospital projects
Allegheny Valley Hospital Auxiliary is hosting its annual Festival of Trees raffle to benefit projects supporting the hospital.
Each hospital department decorates a tree to be raffled off and they are on display in the lobby. Tickets are 10 for $5 or 25 for $10 and may be purchased from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays in the lobby of the hospital, 1301 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights. Cash only, please. Winners receive a fully decorated tree.
The drawing will be at noon Thursday.
Santa to visit New Kensington DQ Grill and Chill
A fundraiser to benefit Valley Points YMCA will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at DQ Grill and Chill, 2100 Freeport Road, New Kensington.
Santa will arrive by fire truck at 6 p.m. and there will be opportunities for photos with Santa. Toy donations will be accepted for the Salvation Army.
Twenty percent of all in-store sales will benefit the YMCA.
