LB Christmas parade rescheduled for Saturday
The Lower Burrell Christmas parade that was planned Dec. 13 has been rescheduled to be Saturday.
Lineup will begin at 6 p.m. at the former Stewart School on Leechburg Road and the procession will begin at 7 p.m.

Cookies available by the pound at cookie walk
The Knoch High School Music Boosters are accepting orders for a cookie walk set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company ballroom, 155 Pittsburgh St.
Cost is $10 per dozen. Children can decorate cookies with Santa and there will be a basket raffle and a 50-50.

Free rides available to medical appointments
Wesley Family Services offers free transportation for those 18 and older from their homes to medical facilities within New Kensington, Arnold, Lower Burrell and parts of Vandergrift.
Rides are available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays except holidays. One-way and round-trip rides are available.
