Third Time’s A Charm to entertain at Knead Community Cafe

Music group Third Time’s A Charm, with Marcie Covey and Paul Leo, will perform Christmas selections from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Knead Community Café, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.

Grab a bite to eat and enjoy some Christmas cheer.


Veggies for All, Cosmetics Closet outreach scheduled

Building Block of Natrona will host its free Veggies for All and Cosmetics Closet outreach for residents in need from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 28 Garfield St., Natrona, Harrison.

Fresh produce, and personal care and hygiene products will be distributed. Everyone is welcome.


Free, hot meal to be served in Leechburg

A Pot Love Dinner will be served at noon Saturday at Cross Roads Community Presbyterian Church, 271 Main St., Leechburg.

If you need a good meal on a weekend and are tired of eating alone, or your food budget is stretched thin, this is for you. A free, hot, nutritious meal is waiting.

Lower Burrell

New Kensington

Saturday: The Community Clothes Closet, 1129 Kenneth Ave., offers winter clothing, including coats, shoes, boots, for men, women and children, linens and blankets, and uniforms for students of Mary Queen of Apostles School. First-time customers receive 15 free items. Hours: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays, noon to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays. A drop-off container for donations is at the entrance.

Tarentum

Saturday: A Dollar Breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to noon at Central Presbyterian Church, 305 Allegheny St. Menu: pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. Everyone welcome. Cost: $1. Details: 724-224-9220
