Free food pantry available Mondays
Streetlight Ministries in Tarentum offers a weekly food pantry for anyone in need from noon to 2 p.m. Mondays at 203 W. Seventh Ave.
There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule after 8:30 a.m. Mondays and people are admitted through the line in order of signup.
A variety of breads, sweet goods, canned items, produce and meats will be available. Walk-ins are welcome but will admitted after those who have registered.
Household donations welcome for Hospitality Homes
The Hospitality Homes division of Allegheny Valley Association of Churches provides housing to families and individuals who have a disability and are experiencing homelessness.
Items needed include curtain rods, curtains, bath towels, wash towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dryer sheets, laundry detergent, dish detergent and pillows.
Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to 5 weekdays at the center, 1913 Freeport Road, Harrison. For information, call 724-226-0606, ext. 10.
