Monarch Hospice, Lower Burrell, is looking for volunteers to help with personal companionship, emotional support, pet therapy, sewing and knitting and as an administrative assistant.

The 7 p.m. service will be family-oriented with carols that children like to sing. A concert featuring cello, flute and piano will begin at 10 p.m. and a candlelight service will be at 11 p.m.

Mondays through Thursdays: Lower Burrell Police K-9 T-shirts are available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the police department. Cost: $25, cash only. Proceeds benefit the K-9 team.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Cost: $35, in advance; $40 at the door if available; includes a dauber and one card for 12 $100 regular games, six $200 games, four $400 games and two $1,000 cover-all jackpot games. There will be food, beverages, instant tickets and a 50/50. Reserved seating available for groups of six or more. Players must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult.
