Special visitor set to visit the Alle-Kiski Valley tonight
Hopefully the clouds will hold off in the Alle-Kiski Valley tonight. Many children – and adults – will have their eyes focused on the skies looking for a special visitor!
HOPE Center seeks donations
Throughout the winter months the HOPE Center will need donations of new pajamas, slippers, underwear and socks, underwear for all sizes and genders, full-size shampoo and body wash, hair brushes, combs and Chapstick. Donations can be for males or females in all children’s sizes, from infants to teenagers.
Donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in the HOPE Center administration building, 500 E. Eighth Ave., Tarentum. To schedule a drop off time outside of these hours, call 724-224-1100.

Thursday: Al-Anon, a free, confidential program for anyone whose life has been affected by someone else’s drinking, will meet at 7 p.m. in First United Methodist Church, 251 Main St.
